Al Dhabi Camel Festival celebrates and preserves heritage

Sharjah 24: The Al Dhabi Camel Festival will begin, on Saturday, in Al Dhaid. Sheikh Dr. Mansoor Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan has supported the festival in order to preserve forefathers' history and encourage camel owners.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Mansoor bin Tahnoon and Sheikh Khalifa bin Mansoor bin Tahnoon are also supporting the event. 

The Sharjah Camel Racing Club will stage and oversee the fourth edition of the limited attendance Al Dhabi Camel Festival on Saturday, July 15.

The festival, which takes place over four days on July 15, 22, and August 4-5, offers camel racing in several categories and levels. The victors of all Al Dhabi Camel races have been awarded prizes.

Matar Ali bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, complimented President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support and funding of camel racing. 

He also hailed Sheikh Dr. Mansoor bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan's support for the camel sport festivals, which help preserve the heritage.
