Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority's (SPEA) "With Arabic We Rise" programme is the most visible example of the authority's efforts to improve the quality of education in the emirate.
Experts in education reform and development visited and inspected almost 9,000 classrooms and schools, finding that students' performance in Arabic-language curricula had improved.

During the first year of the "Teach and Feel Proud" initiative, the authority made 82 visits: 22 in 2021 and 60 in the following school year, 2022-2023. The "Teach and Feel Proud" campaign elevated the Arabic language to official status.

By allowing both male and female citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah the chance to enrol in the training diploma and acquire teaching skills in accordance with the highest standards and modern scientific standards provided by universities, the programme was successful in providing the educational field with national competencies specialised in the field of education.

Sharjah Private Education Authority Chairperson Dr Muhadithah Al Hashemi has confirmed the authority's commitment to enhancing the educational system through the creation and refinement of tools for all stakeholders.

Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, Ali Al Hosani, said that the outcomes of the authority's work and efforts in partnership with private schools and parents urge it to do more to maintain and expand upon these accomplishments.

In 2022, the authority held the first edition of the International Forum for Arabic Teachers in the Sharjah Education Academy building with the participation of a group of experts, officials, and workers in the teaching and administrative staff and students. The forum's theme was "Arabic, Future, and Identity."
