Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, honoured the winners of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence (SAEE) in its 30th edition on Thursday. The award was organied by the Sharjah Private Education Authority and took place at the University City Hall.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, followed by verses from the Holy Quran, Dr Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, delivered a speech congratulating the 51 winners selected from 1,460 participants across the country. She expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support of the award, which prioritizes investment in human resources. She emphasised that quality education is a key enabler for achieving advanced nation status.

She expressed deep appreciation for the sincere efforts of educators who believe in the mission they carry.

​His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and attendees watched a video presentation titled "Tapestry of Excellence," summarising the collaborative roles in building the future of generations and reflecting the journey of educational excellence through the stories of the award's heroes. It showcased significant achievements and statistics over the past 30 years.
Sultan bin Ahmed at the eventHis Highness officially launched the "Pillar of Excellence" by pressing a tablet, symbolising the message that honours the efforts of innovators and represents the values established by the Ruler of Sharjah. It celebrates the heroes of leadership, excellence, and creativity since the inception of the award.

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness presented awards to this year's winners. In the category of Outstanding Individuals, the top position in the Educational Leader category went to Chitra Raghafan, while Saria Abdulrahman won first place in the Outstanding Teacher category, with Sherin Yahya Ramadan and Mohammed Ahmed Al Bustawi following in second and third places, respectively.

​In the category of Outstanding Support Functions, Yasser Mohammed Laila secured first place, followed by Walaa Babakir Al Mahi in second. In the category of Outstanding Parent, Sandeyah Mohammed Al Ziyoudi took first place.
During the eventIn the Outstanding Student category for grades 3 to 12, winners included: Ayush Krishnanifas, Hamad Saif Al Aryani, and Vercin Jain from grade 3; Sarah Javed Khan from grade 4; Sarah Ibrahim Al Hosani, Adeb Ziyan Subesh, Reem Akram Al Mursi, and Shivana Adori from grade 5; Eisa Abdullah Al Mazmi, Fatima Abdulaziz, Vishodhi Shah, and Madiha Javed Khan from grade 6; Syed Hunt Seth, Adil Ishan Abdul, Jaivard Han Manish, Saud Ahmed Al Kaabi, and Leila Saad Al Ahbabi from grade 7; Aisha Mohammed Al Shahia, Suteert Parthiban, Abaar Nasaai, and Sajini Varadharajan from grade 8; Aditya Rajesh, Aditya Anush, Hamdan Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Sarah Said Al Balushyah, Aliya Najoom Nawaz, Ahd Saif Al Yalili, and Ivana Eliza from grade 9; Saif Omar Al Harsh, Rieman Abdullah Ibrahim, Hafiz Faisal Elidat, and Haniya Madavana Salim from grade 10; Sagrika Mehta Kumar, Omar Afros Yahoo, Mariam Hassan Al Ghafri, and Chloe Claudine from grade 11; and Shamsa Ali Al Naqbi from grade 12. Additionally, Mayed Aref Al Zaabi won first place in the Outstanding Student category for special needs.
In the category of Outstanding Institutions, Al Nuhayneyah School won for Outstanding School, while Suhailah Nursery was recognised as the Outstanding Nursery.
His Highness presented commemorative shields to the winners and took group photos with them, the award organizers, committee representatives, and judges, wishing everyone success in their future endeavors.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA); Engineer Omar bin Harimel Al Shamsi, Head of the Department of Municipal Affairs; Jamal Salem Al Turaifi, Chairman of Al Qasimia University; Dr Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority; Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; and Ali Ahmed Al Hosni, General Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, along with several officials and a gathering of educators and participants in the award.
