Al Dhaid Camel Festival comes to successful end

Sharjah24: The fourth annual camel race for novice and old breeders was held during the Al Dhaid Camel Festival in the United Arab Emirates. There were five distinct phases to the final race, each with its own set of cash awards for the top five finishers.

The event was well attended by camel owners, and the Sharjah Camel Racing Club declared it a success. Following the vision of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the event sought to preserve the UAE's rich legacy and customs for future generations.

The chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, said that the fourth annual Al Dhaid Camel Festival was a huge success thanks to the large turnout of camel owners. Camel owners consider the festival to be of great importance and prestige, and they participate in the traditional event with great zeal.
