The visit was part of the "I'm an Athlete" week of the "Sharjah Sports Summer—Our Distinguished Holiday 2025" program, which was arranged by the Maliha Club in partnership with the Sharjah Sports Council.
Captain Hamdan Saeed was welcomed at the Maliha Club's headquarters by Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was accompanied by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Summer Activity Committee; Abdul Rahman Mehair Al Ketbi, Vice Chairman of the Committee; and a number of technical and administrative personnel.
The visit featured a hands-on basketball training session supervised by Captain Hamdan Saeed, which highlighted skill development through field drills and tactical exercises. He also facilitated debates about discipline, teamwork, and the role of sports in developing ambitious adolescents.
He served as a role model and source of motivation for the participants.

Communication and exhibiting real-life role models with field experience are essential pillars of this year's summer programme, which has significant backing from the Sharjah Sports Council. He also thanked the Council for its contribution in strengthening clubs, unlocking young potential, and establishing a secure, educational sports environment that is aligned with societal goals and capable of developing future Emirati sports leaders.
