The signed agreement stipulated that Al Ghafa shall provide ten thousand local trees, within the framework of cooperation, to develop joint efforts in spreading agriculture, which is one of the aspects of sustainability.
His Excellency Muhammad Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club, in the presence of Salem Sultan Al Qaidi, Chairman of Al Ghafa, signed the agreement, which paves the way for the provision of 10000 local trees with the establishment of an agricultural workshop for the members of Mleiha Club summer activity, which will be held under the slogan “Our Holiday is different”.
This agreement reflects an exceptional shift for Mleiha Club, whereas, it will be the first club in adopting such initiative and integrated project, which will achieve a leap in the development of community efforts, and the work of clubs in the field of sports sustainability by providing such large number of seedlings.
His Excellency Muhammad Sultan Al Khasouni stressed the importance of such initiative through cooperation with Salem Sultan Al Qaidi, who is a master in spreading agriculture, due to his great contributions in this field and his keenness to distribute seedlings, which achieve great positive returns for society.
His Excellency Muhammad Sultan Al Khasouni pointed out that this agreement enhances the success of this initiative as it is a real and important contribution in the context of Mleiha Club's interest in sports sustainability, including environmental sustainability, and accustoming players and community members to its importance, while distributing these seedlings to sports clubs under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council.
Salem Sultan Al Qaidi, Chairman of Al-Ghafa Foundation, extended his thanks to Mleiha Sports Club for this constructive cooperation aiming to distribute ten thousand seedlings in the context of the club's initiative to develop green spaces and its commitment to sports sustainability in the field of environment.
Salem Sultan Al Qaidi stressed that the agreement reflects the company keenness to cooperate with Mleiha Club to provide the available seedlings to grow at the earliest opportunity.
