Sharjah24: The Sharjah Summer Blitz Chess Championship will start this evening, Sunday, as part of the summer activity programme of Al-Thiqah Club for the Disabled, under the moto "Our holiday is Different", in cooperation with the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club supervised of the Sharjah Sports Council.
60 players to participate in the tournament.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of Al-Thiqa Club, confirmed that chess is one of the new sports included in the club and has received a great turnout from club members.
