Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), affirmed the SSC’s keenness to activate all means of cooperation with the official bodies, departments and institutions in Sharjah, which leads to achieving common goals and strengthening the efforts undertaken by the SSC in providing services, whether for sports institutions and clubs or to establish community sporting events.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami made the statement during the meeting where he received His Excellency Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, in the presence of His Excellency Hamad bin Hamouda Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club, at SSC headquarters.
During the meeting, the different aspects of communication between both sides were discussed, initiatives that contribute to strengthening common aspects were put forward, and the importance of the SSC's concerted efforts with the municipality in terms of services and community sports activities.
His Excellency Al Hazami stressed that the role of Sharjah Municipality plays an integral role in SSC success and activities, and Sharjah’s pioneering reputation in holding major sporting and annual community events.
His Excellency Al Hazami welcomed all visions and ideas that translate future goals between the two parties during the coming period.
His Excellency Al Tunaiji thanked SSC headed by His Excellency Issa Hilal, expressing the municipality's appreciation for the distinguished role played by SSC in managing the helm of sports work in Sharjah, which reflects the great status of sport and reflects the municipality's constant willingness to contribute to the success of everything that is in favour of the Emirate's achievement.
