During the Eid holiday, Bin Hudaib said, "The awareness campaign focuses on the need for parents to be vigilant in monitoring their children during family visits, warning them of the dangers of neglect and leaving children in and out of vehicles, or leaving vehicles without making sure that they are closed, which may cause them to suffocate."
Due to the high temperature and low oxygen levels, it is especially important that drivers observe all traffic regulations to ensure the safety of everyone on the road.
Accidents and injuries caused by youngsters using pyrotechnics during Eid celebrations were a major concern; therefore, he issued a warning to community members of the dangers of using fireworks.
In order to achieve the goals of the campaign and have a safe and happy Eid, the Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Police urged the community to work together with advice and guidance and cooperate with the police agencies.
