Sharjah24: Together with the Sharjah branch of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, and the Sharjah Civil Defence, the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs (SDIA) hosted an informative seminar titled "Hajj... Step by Step."
Pilgrims leaving for Hajj (pilgrimage) this season attended the seminar, which was conducted in the department's theatre in the Al Rahmaniya district.

The Department of Islamic Affairs' Director of Preaching and Guidance, Dr Salem Mohammed Al-Doubi, gave a presentation on the Hajj's norms, virtues, conditions, and pillars.

Sharjah Civil Defence official Mohammed Fadel Al-Abdouli gave a talk about the precautions that tourists and campaign leaders can take to stay safe in the holy lands.

The Emirates Healthcare Foundation's Dr Mohammed Al-Fateh Al-Tayeb provided tips and preventative measures for avoiding medical issues that pilgrims could face during the Hajj.
Medical checkups, especially for diabetic and hypertensive seminar attendees, were provided by the clinic associated with the University Hospital in Sharjah. To make sure the pilgrims were well and safe on their journey, they also gave them health tips and information.

Sharjah's Director of Islamic Affairs, Abdullah Khalifa Yarouf Al Sabousi, remarked that this educational session is a part of the directorate's awareness programme for the current Hajj season. Al-Sabousi went on to say that the department pays older people who are participating in Sharjah's organised Hajj campaigns a visit at their homes before they go to the holy lands.

The department sends a team to their houses to simplify the ceremonies and answer any questions they may have about their execution.
