“Dhawi al-Qorba” Mosque is a continuation of the approach followed by the Emirate of Sharjah in constructing and building mosques in all suburbs and regions in fulfillment of the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in facilitating access to mosques for worshippers, providing an atmosphere of tranquil worship, comfort and reassurance them.
The mosque was built according to the Islamic architectural style mixed with the traditional shape. It is topped by a 14-meter-high minaret, and sits on a total area of 864 square metres housing the prayer place, which can accommodate 250 worshipers, and its service facilities such as ablution area, toilets, and a residence for the Imam.
The opening of the mosque comes to meet the needs of the residents of the region to facilitate the performance of rituals, and to provide all means of stability and decent living.
