Dr. Aloul: AUS students' talents improve our world

Sharjah24: Dr. Fadi Aloul, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS), granted an exclusive interview to "Sharjah 24" on the day of the university's highly anticipated Spring '23 graduation ceremony. Dr Aloul gave his reflections on this important occasion.
Dr. Aloul remarked on how meaningful it was for the AUS community to witness the graduation of 670 outstanding students in the Spring 23 batch. He singled out four recently graduated PhD students as particularly outstanding examples of AUS's top students and went on to say that all of the graduates were well-equipped with excellent technical skills as well as exceptional subskills, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills that could help them make a difference in the world.

The alumni of AUS's Faculty of Engineering are an inspiration to their professors and peers; they worked extremely hard throughout their academic careers.

Dr Aloul is looking forward to seeing the difference these graduates make in the world when they earn their degrees. He highlighted the fact that AUS graduates are the top choice of UAE companies according to the most recent QS rankings, further attesting to their superior quality.

Dr Aloul delivered heartfelt congratulations on behalf of AUS. He praised the graduates for their contributions to the AUS community and said that he looked forward to hearing about their future achievements.

He congratulated all of the graduates on behalf of the university and emphasised that their successes reflect well on the university as a whole and concluded his remarks by wishing the graduates success and speaking optimistically about their future. He wished them well in their future endeavours, saying that he has no doubt that their extraordinary talents will help make the world a better place. The AUS family looks forward to hearing about the amazing things these exceptional people do, because their success is a reflection of the success of the whole AUS community.
