Three major figures were present at the press conference, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority; and Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of the SBA; along with several other government departments officials.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Sports Channel, announced that on June 14, the Sharjah Sports Championship for Padel, taking place in the World Padel Academy (WPA) stadiums-Al Rahmaniyah.
The tournament will last till June 18.
Al Suwaidi indicated that the tournament includes three categories: the first category is for local citizens, the second category is for Gulf nationals, and the third category is the open category, allowing all nationalities to participate.
The total prizes for the winning teams amounted to more than AED165,000 and AED50,000 for the audience, along with some entertaining activities for the attendees.
