Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) has planned special coverage for the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, which will be held from May 3 to 14 under the theme "Train Your Brain."
Sharjah TV will provide comprehensive coverage of the event, beginning with a live broadcast of the opening ceremony from the Expo Centre Sharjah.

The morning show "Sharjah Morning" will also cover the festival on a daily basis by presenting a panel of participating authors and professionals to debate subjects relating to children's books and the necessity of instilling reading in future generations. Other programmes, such as "Amasy," "Language, Literature, and Art," and "Together as Friends," will interview writers, publishers, and tourists to capitalise on the festival's cultural momentum and diversified activities. The news centre has also planned special coverage for the festival's events through various media outlets, such as reporting and hosting intellectuals and writers.

The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival will be covered on a daily basis by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's digital media via news, live, and recorded shows on social media platforms. The Sharqiah channel's morning programme and the Al Wusta channel's "Diaries of Al Wusta" programme will both cover the festival live with interviews with authorities, publishers, artists, and creative thinkers from across the world.

Sharjah Radio will also feature writers and experts to discuss the importance of reading in raising a knowledgeable generation. Plus, 95 Radio will have a studio in Expo Sharjah where intellectuals and writers will discuss children's books in the digital age. There will be several English-speaking radio channels that provide daily news updates on social media.

Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, the Authority's General Director, indicated that the channels and radio stations are prepared to broadcast the festival's activities, employing all methods and technical personnel to transmit its message to the globe. The goal is to provide today's young minds with cultural and intellectual skills to help them tackle future difficulties in service to the country.
