Sharjah24: The Pain and Hope programme, broadcast by Sharjah TV, has succeeded in treating 4,300 cases since its launch in 2006, with a total value of AED 200 million.
In the year 2023, the program is expected to contribute to treating about 140 cases, with an estimated value of AED 11 million.

This came during the signing of the renewal of the program's partnership contract with Etisalat Company at the headquarters of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Authority, His Excellency Abdulaziz Hamad Tarim, Advisor to the CEO and Director General of Etisalat Company in the Northern Emirates, and Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of Sharjah Channel.
The two parties' collaboration agreement will be renewed, which will make it easier for the humanitarian programme to gather direct financial help for those with chronic and incurable conditions who cannot pay the astronomical expenses of treatment.

Mohammed Hassan Khalaf expressed his great pleasure in the partnership with Etisalat, which enhances the role of the two institutions in supporting the community and providing treatment for the needy, indicating that the Pain and Hope program reflects the commitment of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority to its societal and humanitarian mission, noting the great role played by Etisalat in this field.

For his part, His Excellency Abdulaziz Hamad Tarim, Advisor to the CEO and General Manager of E&T Etisalat in the Northern Emirates, highlighted the importance of this cooperation with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, affirming the importance of holding partnership with social institutions  that deal with various social issues which match the aspirations of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammrd Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the contributions of various sectors in charitable work.
