Sharjah24 : As part of its purposeful objectives to ignite the audience's minds, Sharjah Radio continues to deliver content in June through two radio programmes that combine academic guidance and family support as part of a diverse programming schedule targeting various segments of society.

"Your University Major" supports academic choices

The first programme, titled "Your University Major", focuses on supporting post-secondary students in understanding different university majors by highlighting the nature of each field of study, its requirements, and the career opportunities it offers. The programme aims to support students in making more informed and well-considered academic decisions. Presented by Reem Jassim Al Hamar, it airs daily at 8:00 pm.

"Stable Family" promotes family cohesion

The second programme, "Stable Family", coincides with the announcement of the Year of the Family and highlights the importance of strengthening family stability and enhancing communication skills among family members. It offers audiences comprehensive awareness content on modern parenting methods and ways to address family challenges, contributing to stronger family and community cohesion. The programme is presented by Dr Faeqa Al Ali, a family and marital relations consultant, and airs at 6:00 pm.

Commitment to meaningful community-focused content

Amal Abdulrahman Al Owais, Director of Sharjah Radio, affirmed that the new programmes reflect the station’s commitment to providing diverse and meaningful content that meets the needs of listeners.

Al Owais said: “At the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and Sharjah Radio, we are committed to ensuring that our programmes remain closely connected to the community and address the needs of different age groups, whether in the educational or family sphere. ‘Your University Major’ and ‘Stable Family’ further support this approach by offering educational content that helps young people build their academic futures, while also supporting families in addressing daily challenges and reinforcing their stability.”
