The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hazem Al Ashawi on Sunday in the Club's theater, where he discussed the importance of healthy food in providing the nutrients necessary for energy, growth, and good health.
The lecture was attended by the first team players, club employees, coaches, and administrators.
Dr. Hazem Al Ashawi, stressed the importance of following a healthy lifestyle and eating food with essential nutrients such as vitamins and minerals, enabling the body functions to perform properly, and build cells, tissues, and organs, along with exercising and participating in tournaments with the best performance.
Dr. Hazem Al Ashawi tackled a number of topics stressing the importance of paying attention to health and healthy eating by avoiding soft drinks and fast food.
The lecturer emphasised that an unbalanced diet, negatively affects human health, and causes some health problems, such as lack of energy and tiredness, and may lead to greater complications, such as poor growth.
Dr. Hazem Al Ashawi called for paying attention to sports and the importance of balancing foods that contain calories, to qualify athlete's body to compete in sports, and achieve the desired sustainability in the sports sector.
