Sharjah24: Within the framework of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority’s strategic plan to improve the energy infrastructure in the region by lowering operating costs of the stations, increasing efficiency, and ensuring continuity of services to customers, SEWA has completed modification electrical network project in Wasit and the power transmission station in the region with voltage (11/33 kilovolts) with the total cost AED 12 million.
Engineer Hamad Al-Tunaiji, Director of the Energy Transmission Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, explained that the project was implemented in line with the authority’s objectives to raise the efficiency of the electric network and develop it to meet the needs of customers and ensure the provision of safe and reliable services to the community. This project is vital achievement to raise the efficiency of the electrical network, improve the level of performance and ensure stability and continuity of electrical supply in accordance with quality standards.
He emphasized that in order to carry out the instructions of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, the authority places a high priority on the development of networks and the continuation of comprehensive development operations in all parts of the Emirate of Sharjah.
