Sharjah 24: Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Representative Professions Syndicate in Egypt, appreciated the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting culture and arts locally, in the Arab world, and globally.
Dr. Zaki praised the efforts of the Department of Culture in organising the Dibba Al Hisn Festival for Dual Theatre, which he considered a unique specialised festival.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24” on the sidelines of his attendance at the opening presentation of the sixth edition of the festival, Zaki said that such important events are not strange to the Emirate of Sharjah, which enjoys a prestigious artistic and cultural status.
He added that this success stems from the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who is considered one of the symbols of the artistic and cultural movement, not only Arab, but also at the international level.
Zaki stressed the keenness of artists and intellectuals from various Arab countries to participate in the activities and initiatives of Sharjah, because of their utmost importance and great and tangible impact on the artistic movement and dialogue among intellectuals.
