Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the SAVW, stated that the effectiveness of announcing the results of school competitions for "sustainable volunteering" comes within the framework of the award's commitment to support and encourage initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development in our societies, especially concerning the proper upbringing of children on volunteering. It also targets the authorities concerned with children and schools at the level of the United Arab Emirates.
Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the SAVW, explained that the competition witnessed active participation from various entities that work to develop and improve the environment for children. As a result, the number of submitted projects reached 53 participating projects, 9 from private schools and 44 government schools.
She added that the participating schools should be resided in the country and be licensed and registered by the competent authorities. Furthermore, the project must be within the specified period.
