Sharjah 24: A programme known as "Institutional Voluntary Work Management" is being launched by the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) to reach out to various community members and different types of volunteer organisations.
The sessions take place at YourSpace at Madar in Al Jada on May 10 and 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day. The programme emphasises the most crucial tools and techniques for managing volunteer work within institutions, such as administrative organisation, professional use of institutional energies and employees, and commercial planning and management.
Sustainable social and economic development is addressed, as are the fundamentals of economic indicators related to economic abundance and the effective management of volunteerism. The award's director, Fatima Musa Al-Balushi, spoke about the vital role that government agencies, non-profits, and volunteer groups play in society.
Many government agencies now rely on assistance from non-profit groups to carry out humanitarian and charity initiatives. To further disseminate a culture of volunteering throughout society and its institutions, the award is eager to maintain its collaboration with its partners. The programme is designed to institutionally qualify volunteers from private organisations and public agencies in the field of voluntary business management.
