Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) organised a religious lecture on the virtues of the last ten days of Ramadan, titled "Treasure of the Last Ten Days." Sheikh Dr. Salem Mohammed Al Doubi, preacher in the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, delivered the lecture.
He emphasised that the aim of the lecture was to acquaint the audience with the importance of intensifying worship during these blessed days without neglecting the obligatory prayers.

He stressed the importance for Muslims and their families to follow the Prophet's example in striving during these blessed nights with the recitation of the Quran and remembrance of Allah.

He also explained that it is recommended to increase efforts in obedience and doing good deeds during the last ten days of Ramadan, including performing prayers, giving charity, performing voluntary night prayers, studying the Quran, and reciting its verses, all in following the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The SAVW thanked the preacher, Dr. Salem Al Doubi, for presenting the lecture. This was the second Ramadan session organised by the SAVW, in line with its purposeful programmes and events aimed at the community during this blessed month. The award also commended the role of suburban councils and their cooperation with various community outreach activities.

The session was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Matroushi, Chairman of Al Rahmaniya Council, Dr. Abdullah Al Kutbi, Director of the Social Services Department in Al Bataeh, and Atef Ahmed Karami, a member of the Al Rahmaniya Council and 20 participants.
