Sharjah24: Fawaghi Al Fardan, Events Officer in the Theater Department at the Department of Culture and a member of the Media Committee of the Sharjah School Theatre Festival (SSTF) explained that the final stage of the activities of the tenth edition of the School Theatre Festival, which is organised by the Theater Department at the Sharjah Department of Culture, will commence on May 15th and conclude on the 22nd of this month.
She stated that a press conference was held Wednesday morning, to announce the closing stage of the 10th session of the Sharjah School Theatre Festival, noting that 61 schools participated from various cities and regions of the emirate, with qualifying 15 theatrical performances for the concluding phase.
In her exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24" Al Fardan added that the festival aims to enhance the national identity and the desired educational values in the educational field, ensuring to develop the theatrical talents of school students.
At the end of her speech, she invited members of the public and parents of the participating students to attend the winning theatrical performances, which will be shown on the stage during the period from 15 - 22 May.
