Sharjah 24: Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of the Emirates Publishers Association (EPA), stressed that the association's participation in the activities of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) under the theme "Train Your Brain," with the "Manassa" project, aims to present the works of Emirati publishers affiliated with its membership, displaying 430 titles in children and youth literature.
The EPA is participating in the 14th edition of the SCRF, by presenting the "Manassa" project, which aims to introduce the public to the work of Emirati publishers and celebrate their creativity and the quality of their publications, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

The Executive Director of the EPA confirmed in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the publishing houses participating in the "Manassa" project display more than 10,000 books from various creative and educational fields that meet the interests of the child. The association seeks through the project to promote a culture of reading and creativity among children, encouraging them to explore the world of knowledge through books that suit their interests and stimulate their creative energies.

He added that the EPA focuses in the “Manassa” project on encouraging children to read and developing their mental and creative skills and abilities, as reading is an important tool for the children’s personal and cultural development, and helps them to identify different concepts and values, improve their language level and enhance their knowledge of the world through around it.
