SEWA provides electricity to 27 Ramadan tents

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) has provided a temporary electricity connection to 27 Ramadan tents in various regions of Sharjah, including 11 sites affiliated with the Sharjah Charity International, 4 sites affiliated with the Emirates Red Crescent , and 12 sites belonging to others.

The Authority provided this service, using the highest quality and the most secure cables and supplies, according to the best specifications.

Dr. Eng. Hassan Al Zarooni, Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, confirmed that the gesture comes as part of concerted efforts with all parties to provide the best services to different charitable groups and community’s individuals.

He pointed out that the Authority constantly works to provide the electricity connection to Ramadan tents in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, enhancing charitable works and launching community and humanitarian initiatives.

He added that the Authority is keen to ensure its mechanism to ensure compliance with the requirements that contribute to preserving the safety and lives of citizens and residents, applying strict safety and security rules.
