Sharjah 24: The Sharjah team qualified for the final of UAE President’s Cup finals after overcoming the Ajman team in the home-and-away matches. Al Ain also qualified for the final match after defeating Al Wasl 1-0 in the second leg, taking advantage of their goalless draw in the first leg.
Sharjah tied with Ajman 1-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals of UAE President’s Cup , and benefited from its victory in the first leg 2-1, to qualify for the championship final for the second time in a row, seeking to preserve its title, to face Al Ain, who qualified at the expense of Al Wasl.
Sharjah and Ajman tied in extra time during the match that was held Friday evening, at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.
In the second match, Al Ain qualified after defeating Al Wasl with a free goal scored by Eric Jurgens in the 24th minute, during the match that was held at Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium.
