Sharjah24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) held a religious lecture for women, as part of the SAVW Ramadan Majlis’ targeted programs, events and activities. The lecture sheds light on the importance of altruism and volunteering in promoting charitable and humanitarian work.
The lecture, being moderated by Dr. Samira Al Shezawi, the preacher at the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, targets 50 participants, highlighting the SAVW’s keenness to foster social connections through arganising such events during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work will hold its second Ramadan Majlis for men, on Monday, at 9:30 pm until 10:30 pm, after Tarawih prayers at Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council, with an open invitation for men and women.
