Sharjah 24: Al Rahmaniya Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) received at its headquarters in Sharjah the community people throughout the days of the blessed Eid Al Adha and held the "Eid Fawala" initiative.
The initiative is one of the council's most prominent permanent activities during the Eid days, which allows the people to visit and greet each other, enjoying the Eid atmosphere.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Matroushi, Chairman of the Council and the council members, received the attendees from the residents of Al Rahmaniya, who came to extend their congratulations and blessings on this happy occasion, and to distribute gifts to the children.
The initiative reflects one of the inherited customs aimed at enhancing communication between members of the community and bringing joy and happiness to children by distributing the Eid gifts.
The atmosphere of joy prevailed through the “Eid Fawala” initiative, which is one of the customs and traditions that His Excellency Ahmed Al Matroushi was keen to organise in compliance with the visions and plans of SDVAD to promote rapprochement between families, especially during the holidays.
The initiative succeeded in bringing families together and achieving its positive goals, which the council is keen to organise annually based on the social role of the council in promoting social bonds between members of society.
