Sharjah24: Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council (AKSC) donated half a million dirhams (500,000) to the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) as support and enhancement of its financial resources, in a qualitative gesture and community initiative.
The delegation, headed by Mohamed Salem Al Junaibi, Director of the Sharjah Red Crescent Authority in the presence of several dignitaries, was received by the Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri, accompanied by Mohammed Rashid bin Jarash, Vice- Chairman of the Council, Ali Hamad bin Seifan, member of the Council, and Omran Mohammed Al-Hammadi, the council official.
His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri confirmed that the council is keen to develop the roles of humanitarian and charitable institutions in the emirate. He stressed that the donation comes within the Council’s initiatives and activities, aiming to consolidate its societal role and translates the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salem Al Junaibi thanked Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council for their community and charitable roles, extending his thanks and appreciation to the council chairman, its members and all its employees.
He presented a souvenir, which was received by the Chairman of the Council, and confirmed that the Emirates Red Crescent is keen to continue its communication with the Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, thanking them for the warm reception.
