Sharjah 24: Sheikh Dr. Salem Al Doubi, Head of the Preaching Section at the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, highlighted in the eighth episode of the religious programme “Ramadan Sermons” the importance and benefits of the month of Ramadan for young people during which they can gain much by becoming closer to God through increasing their good deeds.
Dr. Al Doubi’s “Ramadan Sermons” programme is broadcast on “Sharjah 24” website and social media platforms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week, during the holy month of Ramadan.
He said this Ramadan is an exceptional opportunity for young people because they are on vacation, so they must take advantage of the vacation and exploit it well by completing Quran recital, preserving the five daily prayers in mosques, attending Tarawih prayers, and intensifying their prayers, especially in the last third of the month as well as doing good to the poor and the needy.
Al Doubi added that The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free time before your work, and your life before your death.”
