The event was organised by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage in the Heritage Square and in the various cities of the emirate, and 42 countries and 40 government agencies participated in it.
Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, thanked the management of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for providing the opportunity to participate in the event, stressing that the Council is keen to participate in all important community events in the emirate based on its pioneering role in enhancing communication with the public and translating the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to make sport a way of life and a permanent culture.
He thanked the emirate's clubs for their positive interaction through programmes that won the audience's approval. He said that daily communication with visitors to the pavilion was one of the most important gains achieved during this event.
