Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Government Media Bureau’s Sharjah Contact Centre (SCC) finished its participation as an information platform in the 20th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days, under the theme "Heritage and Creativity," hosted by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage in Khorfakkan from March 5 to 12.
This is part of an effort to improve two-way communication with residents of Khorfakkan and the rest of the Emirate of Sharjah by participating in community events, introducing the centre, and answering residents' questions about upcoming heritage-themed celebrations in the city and its surrounding areas.
"During the year, we hope to strengthen our collaborations with government departments in the Emirate," said Eng. Khaled Omar Al Naqbi, Director of the Sharjah Contact Centre (SCC).
"Our collaboration with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage on Sharjah Heritage Days is part of the vital events and meetings that are in line with the Emirate's vision to improve cultural communication among peoples, deepen national heritage and identity, and provide the necessary information to achieve these goals."
