Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club (MCSC) affiliated to the Sharjah Sports Council announced the organisation of its Holy Qur’an Award, targeting the Club’s players and the residents in Mleiha, in cooperation with the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Est, Central Region Branch.
This comes in light of its launch of a number of sporting and cultural activities and competitions, as well as meetings during the holy month of Ramadan, aiming to improve the capabilities of youth in particular and society in general in all cultural, social and religious aspects.
The competition will be held in three categories, and the tests will be held at the Club's headquarters.
His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors has highlighted the keenness of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club to adopt such initiatives, encouraging players and several society’s members to memorise the Quran.
Al Khasouni called on all players and residents to register and participate in the competition according to the categories and the specified ages, pointing out that the club will allocate financial rewards to the winners.
