Sharjah 24: The Sharjah IDBF MENA Club crew Championship, organised by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, was concluded on Sunday evening on Al Khan Sea in Sharjah, and winners were honoured.

In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, said that 1,600 competitors participated in the three-day competition from across the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East.

He added that the IDBF MENA Club crew Championship is very popular all over the world and different age groups participated in it, stressing the club's keenness to host such international championships to introduce participants to the tourist areas that characterise the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Hosani thanked all the strategic partners and supporters for the success of this global event.
