Sharjah 24: Asma Al Khudari, Director of the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office of the Sharjah Social Services Department, stated that the office organised a brainstorming session in the Sharjah Consultative Council, with the participation of 100 people from various departments and institutions of the Sharjah government.
The Sharjah Age-Friendly Office of the Sharjah Social Services Department organised a brainstorming session for the Age-Friendly Cities Initiative at the Sharjah Consultative Council headquarters.
The Director of the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office stated that the aim of the session, in which 100 people from various government departments participated in Sharjah, was to generate innovative ideas, make decisions to create a comprehensive and sustainable environment for the elderly, and introduce new initiatives and activities during the coming period.
She stated that the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office launched during the session the Green Heart Award in its second edition, where the criteria and requirements for nomination for the award were reviewed.
Concluding her statement, she thanked and appreciated all the participants for presenting their ideas that serve the elderly, and for which the office works to select the best of them and put them within the next strategic plan of the office for 2024-2026.
