Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) was awarded the title of an age-friendly institution, in line with the efforts of the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) on this regard.
On this occasion, the SSSD honoured the SCC in the framework of its activities for the 11th Age Forum, held at Al Qasimia University in a ceremony organised on that occasion on Thursday.
This comes after the SCC, in cooperation and coordination with the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office of the SSSD, completed work to meet all special requirements regarding age-friendly institutions.
