Sharjah24: Dr. Khaled Al Hindassi, Director of the Sharjah Heritage Institute branch in Dibba Al Hisn, confirmed that the Sharjah Heritage Days (SHD) in Dibba Al Hisn is full of heritage, cultural and entertainment events and activities that the Heritage Village embraces for 8 days.
Dr. Khaled Al Hindassi affirmed that Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Khorfakkan inaugurated, on Saturday in the heritage village in Dibba Al Hisn, the 20th edition of the Sharjah Heritage Days (SHD) .
The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage; His Excellency Ahmed bin Yarouf, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al Hisn, and a number of senior officials, representatives of government departments.
Dr. Khaled Ali Al Hindassi, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage Branch in Dibba Al Hisn, stated that the event is full of many activities and heritage events, folkloric songs, and cultural and entertainment activities that meet all segments of society’s interest.
He explained in statements to Sharjah 24 that a large number of government departments and institutions in the city participate in the activities in the heritage village, which embraces various pavilions for various marine, mountainous and agricultural environments.
Al Hindassi stressed that with the great support of the wise leadership, the Sharjah Heritage Days have continued a successful march for nearly two decades, through which the folklore, tradition and authentic traditions have been consolidated.
