The Sharjah Heritage Days are hosted by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage in the Heritage Area in the heart of Sharjah, as well as in eleven other cities across the emirate, and feature the involvement of 42 Arab and foreign nations in addition to the UAE.
During the Heritage Days, 40 UAE government agencies put on performances, exhibits, and other events celebrating the country's rich heritage, culture, and art. The edition's honoured visitor is Hungary, and a special guest of honour is Austria.
As the social role of the council is inseparable from its sports role, Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour, who is in charge of the duties of Secretary-General of the Sharjah Sports Council, stated that the council's participation in the Sharjah Heritage Days demonstrates its willingness to enrich sports activity in the emirate.
The council has a pavilion at the event to promote its activities and host a number of events, such as public contests and giveaways, every day of the event. There are fifteen teams from Sharjah that are taking part, all of which put on unique sporting activities.
