Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Girl Guides Commission and the Sharjah Children 's Foundation collaborated to host today's World Scout Day event, titled "Our Planet, Our Peaceful Future."
According to Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Sajaya Young Ladies Foundation, the gathering is part of the foundation's endeavour to educate girl guides on environmental issues, urge them to take action, and stimulate discussion about environmental preservation.
Sheikha Al Shamsi stated that the gathering drew 100 members from the Sharjah Girl Guides Commission and Al Qasimia University, as well as girl guides from the United Kingdom.
