Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) announced the donation of the proceeds of participation in the Tal Al Zafaran Run for the benefit of the victims of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
The participation is also an immediate response to the charity triathlon in favor of the “Bridges of Goodness” campaign organised by the Big Heart Foundation in cooperation with the Sharjah Charity International under the directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of TBHF which will kick off on Friday, February 17, at 2:00 pm on Sharjah TV.
In this context, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, affirmed that the Council, with all its employees, joined the charity campaign in order to confirm the strong stand with the earthquake-affected people in both Syria and Turkey, which is an integral part of the Council's societal roles and interaction with all humanitarian initiatives led by Sharjah, the Emirate of charity and giving under the directives Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi through the Big Heart Foundation.
Al-Hazami praised the noble goals of the "Bridges of Goodness" campaign, which will cast a positive and moral shadow on those affected and confirm that the Emirate of Sharjah is always at the heart of the event in sympathy with humanity.
