Sharjah 24: As part of its humanitarian efforts and within the framework of its noble responsibilities, the Sharjah Coop has allocated donation tents in all its branches in the emirate for the relief of those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, as part of the "Bridges of Goodness" initiative, in cooperation and coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent.
The Sharjah Coop discussed enhancing ways of joint cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) in a number of issues of common interest between the two sides, to serve community, support joint initiatives, and achieve happiness for needy groups and needy families.

This came during the visit of the Sharjah Coop delegation to the headquarters of the ERC in Sharjah, in the presence of Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Coop, and a number of officials. The delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed Salem Al-Junaibi, Director of the ERC in Sharjah, and a number of ERC officials.

The two sides discussed cooperation in the fields of charitable and humanitarian work, and exchanged views on proposals and projects that could be implemented by the two sides in the interest of the needy groups.

Al Junaid praised the efforts of the ERC in giving a helping hand to everyone in need, and its effective and positive role in enhancing cohesion between UAE institutions and members of society, stressing the Sharjah Coop’s keenness and willingness to provide the necessary support for charitable and humanitarian efforts.

Al Junaid affirmed that the Sharjah Coop, in the framework of its keeping pace with the humanitarian trends in the UAE, and its implementation of the visions of its wise leadership, has provided donation tents in its entire branch.
