Sharjah Seven Spikes wheat to be delivered to mills

Sharjah 24: The second phase of preparing wheat for sale in the Sharjah Co-operative Society has begun, and Dr Khalifa Al Tunaiji, the Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, has confirmed that all harvesting operations have been completed at the wheat farm in Sharjah and that the crop has been supplied to the mills contracting with the farm.

The milling process is monitored, and quality control is ensured by a team of Department of Agriculture and Livestock staff.

Al-Tunaiji stated that the "Seven Spikes" wheat is of higher calibre and flavour due to the utilisation of cutting-edge milling technology.
The unique crop, he said, is in high demand from customers as well as companies in the baking and confectionery industries, and its products will be introduced to shoppers on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
