Sharjah24: The first session of the 3rd term of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) will be held on 25th of February in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with a new group of children from the Arab world, at the Parliament’s headquarters in the Sharjah Consultative Council.
The session will start with the election of a new Speaker of the Parliament, as well as his two deputies, from among the Arab children, through the voting among the attending children.
His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child affirmed their readiness to receive Arab children in Sharjah to start their work of their 3rd session, which will continue over two years, aiming to discuss various issues related to their childhood.
Al-Barout appreciated the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the follow-up of His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, contributing to strengthening the work of the parliament and its roles in serving Arab children.
