APC issues its 12th Parliamentarian magazine

Sharjah 24: The Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) issued the "Young Parliamentarian" magazine in its twelfth issue for the year 2025, which comes in a renewed and diverse look, combining parliamentary thought, culture and creativity, providing rich content that reflects the aspirations of Arab childhood, and keeps pace with the developments of the era in the fields of education, innovation and community participation.

The magazine is issued by APC General Secretariat, under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief and General Supervisor Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of APC, and is managed by Dr. Haider Waqe Allah, with the participation of the editorial board consisting of Marwa Al Suwaidi, Dr. Islam Al Shiwi and a number of children parliament members, which ensures the provision of integrated content that combines deep analysis and an interesting style close to children.

A variety of topics

The new issue is distinguished by the diversity of its sections and the richness of its topics that address Arab childhood issues from multiple angles. The "Panorama of the Arab Parliament for Children" section covers the most prominent achievements and activities of the parliament, highlighting the role of children in the parliamentary process and their unique experience in participation and decision-making.

The issue also includes topics related to children's election campaigns and their right to express their opinions freely, which enhances their awareness of the importance of democracy and participation in building a brighter future.

Among the distinctive sections in the issue, the "Spotlight" section stands out, which deals with inspiring figures in the world of children's literature. This issue highlights the great writer Kamel Al Kilani, a pioneer of children's literature in the Arab world, reviewing his contributions to shaping the literary and cultural awareness of children across successive generations.

The values of Arab culture

The "In Heritage" section delves into folk tales that reflect the authentic values of Arab culture, while the "Science and Innovation" section focuses on developments in artificial intelligence and its role in supporting childhood and developing their future skills.

The issue also includes rich topics related to health, through the "Health Culture for You and Your Family" section, which provides advice on proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, as well as educational articles on the importance of balancing learning and entertainment, which enhances the concept of self-development in children.

As for the dialogue between Salem and Salama, it addressed the topic of "Democrats", highlighting the electoral practices in the Arab Parliament for Children, in an interactive manner that makes it easy for children to understand the foundations of democracy and free choice.

With such diversity, the "Arab Parliament for the Child" magazine confirms its position as a leading magazine in the field of journalism directed at Arab children, combining knowledge, education and entertainment, and contributing to enhancing the awareness of the emerging generations of their active role in society.

Editor-in-Chief and General Supervisor Ayman Othman Al Barout confirmed that the magazine is a continuation of the approach of the Parliament in providing content that enhances children's thinking and connects them to their culture and identity, noting that the new issue keeps pace with the aspirations of Arab childhood by highlighting their issues in a manner that takes into account their interests and level of awareness, and provides them with a platform to express their aspirations and hopes.

Al Barout added that the “Young Parliamentarian” magazine reinforces the role of the Arab child being the promising future.
