APC, SCC’s General Secretariat discuss receiving new members

This comes after the completion of the preparations to launch the work of the third edition of the Arab Parliament for the Child, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the follow-up of His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League.

The session of the Arab Parliament for the Child will be held on the 25th of February at the headquarters of the Sharjah Consultative Council.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child and Chairman of the Higher Committee Organising Parliament’s Business, in the presence of Parliament employees from various departments and sections, as well as employees of the General Secretariat of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah. His Excellency Al-Barout welcomed the attendees, lauding the distinguished efforts during the last two sessions sine the launching of the APC’s works in 2019 

During the meeting, the attendees discussed the current work preparations for launchign the third session of the Arab Parliament for the Child, stressing that based on the correspondence conducted with Arab countries, the Arab Parliament for the Child nominates the new members in Parliament. They also reviewed the working specialised committees that will work according to the various plans and timetable, organising different programs and workshops during the upcoming session. 

the Arab Parliament enjoys the generous support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to make it as a platform that concerns with children’s issues and serves children in all Arab countries.
