Sharjah 24: Fahd Al Maamari, Researcher in Emirati Folklore, confirmed that the Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival has gathered in 17 editions poetry across the Arab world.

He stated that the Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival is characterised by two main characteristics: honouring prominent poets as one of the icons of poetry in the country, and the second is the poetry evenings that bring together poets of the Arab world under one roof.

He added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the festival, throughout its history, preserved the status of poets and their poems, and allowed many researchers to view them through books, research and accompanying studies.
