Sharjah24: The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) announced holding the 12th edition of "Sharjah Lights Festival 2023" in various parts of Sharjah from 8 to 19 February 2023.

The festival includes an agenda full of light shows, paintings, and entertainment activities targeting individuals and families.

The authority revealed the details of this year's edition in a press conference held Sunday evening at the Village of Lights, located in front of the University City Hall building in Sharjah, in the presence of Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the SCTDA, several officials and representatives of Sharjah government agencies, and representatives of local and international media in the country.

Al Midfa confirmed that the "Sharjah Lights Festival" has become one of the leading and notable events in the emirate. The contribution of the authority's partners from the government and private sectors made this event a success.

He added that the festival gathers local and international talents and artists, as it allows them to present dazzling light shows accompanied by music and various effects.

The "Village of Lights" hosts a wide range of small and medium-sized local projects and a museum of lights and areas designated for entertainment activities and live performances, providing families with a new and integrated experience.
