Sharjah24: The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) is preparing to participate in the World Travel Market 2022 (WTM 2022), the leading platform for the tourism industry, from 7-9 November in London, as part of its endeavour to Promote the emirate as a tourist destination.

In the Authority's pavilion,  17 entities from the government and private sectors will participate in showcasing Sharjah's most prominent projects in the various sectors, such as tourism, recreational, environmental, heritage, cultural, sports, and hospitality sectors, promoting tourism, highlighting opportunities travel industry in Sharjah, in addition to exchanging experiences and best practices in the industry.

Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the SCTDA, stated that the Authority’s participation in WTM 2022 shows how far Sharjah has reached in the tourism industry. Therefore, the Authority believes that its participation, along with the 17 entities in the exhibition, is an ideal opportunity to promote tourism in Sharjah and present its path of developmental projects to the European market.
