Sharjah24: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) celebrated ,at its headquarters, the 51st UAE National Day by organising many activities and various national events, bringing joy to the people of the UAE.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Council, His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Parliament for the Arab Child, and a number of male and female members of the Council, in addition to the presence of a large group of invitees and cadres of the General Secretariat of the Council.
The ceremony, which was held in front of the headquarters of the Sharjah Consultative Council and in its yard, began with playing the UAE national anthem by the musical band of the Police Sciences Academy, with performing several patriotic songs.
His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi has delivered a speech in which he congratulated the wise leadership and the people of the UAE on this national occasion, stressing that through celebrating the51st UAE National Day, people celebrate the country’s remarkable accomplishments that have been achieved over 51 years in various fields, contributing in promoting the nation’s history and its prosperity.
During celebrating the occasion, the students of Al-Ansar International School in Sharjah have also expressed their pride in the beloved country and loyalty to the wise leadership. The Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council and the attendees toured the place of the celebration, including different decorations that reflect the country’s achievements.
