Sharjah24: Al Suyoh Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs of the Government of Sharjah approved during its first meeting to elect by board agreement Youssef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi as Chairman of the Al Suyoh Suburb Council and to elect Hareb Mohammed Harib Al-Rumaithi as the Council’s Vice-Chairman.
The meeting comes in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah in the Emiri Decree No. 3 of 2023 on forming Al Suyoh Suburb Council, directing to chooses the Council’s chairman and a vice-chairman at its first meeting from among its members by either board agreement or direct secret ballot.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council, head of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA), and Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Councils Affairs Department, in the presence of several members.
During the meeting, Youssef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi , Chairman of the Al Suyoh Suburb Council thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah for his continuous support, lauding the wise vision of His Highness, aiming to establish Suburb Councils that ensure the well-being of all the people.
